SFF stand with farmers and CFA Volunteers opposing the Emergency Services & Volunteer Fund Levy
On the 20th of May Jeff Bourman MP stood in front of Parliament with CFA Volunteers, state politicians, regional councils and farmers from all over Victoria in opposition to the Emergency Services & Volunteer Fund Levy.
This levy is an expansion of the existing fire services levy with increases to all Victorians. Farmers are the worst hit with increases of over 150% and councils being forced to collect it as a part of their rates notices.
During the debate in Parliament, SFF MP Jeff Bourman took aim at the AJP, Legalise Cannabis and Greens MP’s who supported the bill. You can watch his speech in Parliament below:
