Jeff Bourman MP has introduced a motion calling on the Government to completely dismantle the Victorian Environmental Assessment Council. In his motion he calls out VEAC for their consistent bias toward locking up the bush and their hand in killing off the native timber industry.

 

He is also calling on the government to ignore any active VEAC investigations, commit to not introducing any more national parks and create a new “Outdoor Recreation Advisory Group” which will bring together all bush users to manage public land sustainably.
